Glasses Headgear? - Guild Wars Forums

Sometimes I see people with glasses on for a headgear, where do they get these?
Are they from pre-ordering one of the games?

The glasses are available from the Asuran armor crafter in Rata Sum, mid-way through Eye of the North.

As I recall from when I got mine, 5k + some Steel, Glittering Dust, and Glass Vials.

Get Rank 5 for the Asuran title track in EotN and they're craftable at Rata Sum.

Note too, that there are 3 types of glasses - regular Spectacles, Tinted Spectacles (shades

) and Slim Spectacles (which appear to be partially tinted.). Unfortunately, unlike some glasses companies, your second pair is not free.

They also act like regular headgear. You can add rune and insignia. If you add a rune you get the +1 from the headgear which adds to the rune.
